Standing Up for Open Source 3D Printing
Yes, this domain (bambulab.org) is privately owned and operated. We stand in absolute solidarity with Pawel (OrcaSlicer-BambuLab), GamersNexus, Louis Rossmann, and the entire global open-source and Right to Repair movement.
Secure & Independent Mirror Downloads
OrcaSlicer-BambuLab Fork
Direct cloud integration and full remote printer controls, bypassing artificial proprietary middleware restrictions. Under GPLv3 open source license.
Note: We are constantly updating this local mirror. File hashes are generated dynamically on-the-fly to ensure verified cryptographic integrity.
The Open Source Hypocrisy
Bambu Lab built their entire printing software empire directly on top of open-source projects. Bambu Studio is a direct fork of PrusaSlicer, which itself was built on Slic3r. Both are licensed under the GNU General Public License v3 (GPLv3).
Under the GPLv3, open-source derivatives are protected and encouraged. Despite benefiting immensely from community-driven work, Bambu Lab has weaponized their proprietary cloud API and deployed Swiss legal entities to target individual developers who write integration features for the community.

How we fought off Bambu Lab's Swiss Mailbox Lawyers
Two years ago, when the domain bambulab.org started ranking on the very top of search engine results—even ahead of their commercial domain bambulab.com—Bambu Lab panicked.
Instead of trying to work with the community, they immediately chose the corporate path of intimidation. They hired Chinese attorneys who operated through a Swiss mailbox proxy to send aggressive threats. They demanded that I instantly delete the domain so they could hijack it.
We refused to bow down. Despite their massive funding, we knew our rights. The ironic part? I actually held written confirmation and approval from a high-ranking Bambu Lab Manager at the time, confirming I was allowed to keep and use the domain.
In a classic twist of corporate cleaning, at the FormNext 2024 expo in Frankfurt, I had conversations with active Bambu Lab employees. They confirmed that the manager who granted me that approval had since been "released" (dismissed) from the company.
Today, we are putting this domain to its ultimate and rightful use: standing alongside GamersNexus and Louis Rossmann to host and mirror community-driven, unrestricted software.
The Acquisition
bambulab.org ranks at the top. Legal letters arrive from Switzerland/China proxy lawyers.
The Defense & Manager Deal
Refused to delete. Got direct, written authorization from a key Bambu manager to maintain the site.
FormNext Revelations
Met Bambu staff on site. Found out our supportive manager was quickly terminated.
The Rebirth
Leveraging the domain as a community bastion against corporate bullying.
